Our Permacultural Green Camps provide experiences that cultivate people’s understanding and appreciation of nature, community, and self through an unforgettable learning adventure.
Agricultural income still comprises a sizeable portion of India’s GDP and a large section of our population still makes its living through this timeless practice. However it is our constant exploitation of natural resources and contamination of agricultural and horticultural outputs that, apart from leading to climate change and forcing mass migration of animals, is also affecting our agricultural output quite strongly.
Designed with the intention of increasing awareness on the need for eco-conservation among urban citizens, it is also our goal to contribute to a global movement on better agricultural practices and sustainable living. In order to achieve these goals effectively, it is of utmost importance to understand in greater depth, man’s symbiotic relationship with nature and how this has evolved over time. Our green camps will help guests balance human needs without exploiting natural resources unnecessarily by giving them the tools needed to maintain a sustainable lifestyle.
The camp begins with an introduction to the environment around us and the various means that can be adapted to conserve it effectively, demonstrating the delicate relationships that bind our ecosystem and the impact human activity can have on its balance. This is followed by a visit to neighboring farms to study the various tools used and the unique farming techniques adopted by each. Reinforcing the necessity of sustainability, we conduct camps for school kids, families and corporate teams, giving them the opportunity to contribute to creating a better community for all of us.
